Loosing a letter in the post is very annoying, a package or parcel is even worse, so imagine my frustration when the envelope containing a large amount of cheques from various kind donors never arrives at The Royal Marsden!
What is worse is trying to figure out whose cheques have been received by the charity and whose have not.
In a nut shell: if you sent your donation to me before the 21 November then it has been sent onto the Hospital and they have received it. Thank you.
Unfortunately, if you sent it to me after this date it is most likely that it went in the next batch. Please firstly check your statement or with your bank to see if the check has been deposited by The Royal Marsden. If it has not, then at this stage, it is safe to say that it has been lost. Please cancel your original cheque by contacting your bank. I am truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you and hope that despite this, you are willing to try the process again. If so please do ensure that all cheques are made out to:
The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign and can be sent to me at home, or directly to the charity at:
The Fundraising Department
Royal Marsden Hospital
Downs Road
Sutton, Surrey
SM2 5PT
If you are sending cheques directly to the charity please attach a note with the following message:
"FAO: Natasha Cook - Donation for Fund 260 - Ref: Will Simonds"
This allows your donation to be put towards the correct fund that mum was so passionate about and gets added onto my running total (no pun intended)
If you have any questions, please comment below or give me a call anytime. Sorry again for all of this and thank you all again for your kind support and generosity.
